    Each WD produces:
  • oxygen - 8.7 tons
  • phytoncids, which kill the pathogenic microbes and bacteria. - 0.09 tons
    Each WD retains:
  • dust - up to 1.7 tons;
  • sulphur-bearing compounds - 0.12 tons;
  • chlorides - 0.03 tons;
  • fluorides - 0.006 tons;
  • consumption of carbon dioxide - 11.22 tons
  • no problems with wastes recovery
  • less materials are required for wind electric power plant construction
  • burning of coal - 1,314 tons;
  • burning of oxygen - 2,724 tons;

  • atmosphere contamination: 
    • soot - 13 tons;
    • ash - 87 tons;
    • sulphur-bearing compounds - 77 tons;
    • nitrogen oxides - 25 tons;
    • carbon dioxide - 3,733 tons;
  • scope of solid wastes (soot and ash) formation - 175 tons
Results:
Creation of oases as described above in the steppe zone produces the favourable environmental effect on the whole, contributes to formation of a comfort habitat for birds and small animals and makes a positive contribution into solution of the problem of animal and vegetable worlds protection and restoration. Clean air and beautiful landscape benefits the human nervous system and exerts a kind of landscape therapy effect.
Results:
1) increase of the sick rate and death rate of population;
2) damage to flora and fauna;
3) "acidic rains", losses in farming and forestry, contamination of water sources, doing harm to buildings, bridges and other constructions exposed to corrosion from depositing particles of soot and ash;
4) climatic changes due to the greenhouse effect;
5) reduction of oxygen content in atmosphere.
